GENESIS 1:9"And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so." Inner Meaning Genesis 1:9 describes the first emergence of form
within the soul. The “waters under the heaven” represent the
astral plane, the
shifting, emotional, desire‑laden substance of the lower nature.
These waters are gathered, concentrated, and organized so that
something new may arise: dry land, the symbol of the lower
quaternary, the natural man, the
stable foundation upon which the soul’s evolutionary journey will
unfold. Symbolic Breakdown • The Waters Under the Heaven Esoteric Interpretation Genesis 1:9 marks the moment when the soul
becomes capable of incarnation. The astral forces are no longer
chaotic; they are gathered into a single field. Out of this field
emerges the lower self — the Earth — the arena in which the soul
will learn, struggle, and ultimately transcend. The Esoteric Message….. The soul’s lower nature must be gathered, centered, and disciplined before the true self can stand upon firm ground and begin the ascent toward the Divine.
