WHY IS THE BIBLE SO CRYPTIC?
Western culture has been taught a very distorted
view of scripture and of the Bible.
The bible is not about God or religion. It is in fact a book of
coded psychology.
Why would the authors go through so much effort to hide the true
meaning of their message in such a cryptic or esoteric manner?
They (the religious establishment) put Galileo in prison for life
for simply saying the earth went around the sun. Imagine what they
would have done to the person(s) that seriously undermined the very
foundation of their religious institutions. Think about the millions
who suffered the inquisition or what they did to Jesus himself for
having different ideas that threatened the establishment.
The bible was cleverly coded to hide the true teachings from the
ignorant religionists of that time. Today's fear-based Christianity
is what evolved from the religious tyranny of Galileo’s day. If
those who wrote scripture had worded it plainly the authors would
have had their heads handed to them or worse. Their truly
enlightened teachings would not have survived for thousands of
years. They would have been outright destroyed (library of
Alexandrea) or they would have been rewritten and altered to a point
where they no longer convey the meaning of the original message.
When you do not truly understand what you are reading it becomes
almost impossible to alter its meaning.
If I say we are going to go shoot the bull you understand we really
don’t need a gun. You understand the hidden meaning or “dark saying”
of what I said. The bibles true message is almost completely hidden
in its pages in the same manner.
These cryptic scriptures were never meant for public consumption.
They were intended for those who had achieved the mental capacity
for true enlightenment. At that time it was for those who were
initiated into the mystery schools. The Free Masons of today are
close to an equivalent of the ancient mystery schools. They keep
their teachings to themselves and provide a network to support each
other. The general population is simply to ill-informed and
religiously superstitious (god is going to punish me) to accept or
even begin to comprehend the greater truths of our mind and the
greater reality of consciousness itself.
Fortunately enough has been documented and handed down that the
teachings of the mystery schools have survived to the present day.
The purpose of the bible was never to enslave us to a vengeful god,
it was to teach us about our mind, how it was formed, the various
levels of awareness we can achieve (baptisms), and how to master our
control over it.
The only person in the bible is you. All characters represent some
aspect of our mind and its evolution from ego (Satan) to altruism
(God). That should probably be the first lesson in the mystery
school, that you are in fact the ego (Satan) and the altruism (God)
rolled into a single consciousness.
Look at the bible more like Aesop’s fables than a book on religion.
There is a much deeper meaning to what is being said than the
superficial words on the page are saying. - David Smith
