SOUL (LOWEST ASPECT), ANIMAL SOUL
A symbol of the astral body of desires,
appetites, passions, instincts, and lower affections and emotions.
The personality when ruled by the lower principle.
"The soul of the wicked desireth evil." - PROV. xxi. 10.
"Behold all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the
soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." -
EZEK. xviii. 4.
All personalities are emanated by the Higher Self through the
individuality. As the preceding personality (father), so also the
succeeding personality (son) comes from the individuality seated in
the causal-body. The personality that is unpurified is dissipated,
and a new personality is incarnated. Each personality is responsible
in degree for its actions, and not for the actions of its 'father or
its "son." The personality dies in his sins, but the individuality
is immortal. In a general sense the personality endures through the
cycle and dies when perfected.
