CARDINAL DIRECTIONS

The bible makes a lot of references to the cardinal directions.

The bible uses cardinal directions as symbolic metaphors that describe our four basic mental processes or state of being. Take note of this symbolism when interpreting the bible stories.

North / Up = Spiritual
South / Down = Emotional
East / Right = Intellectual / God
West / Left = Physical / You

And when the south wind blows, you say, It's going to be hot, ' and it is.
And when your emotions blow, you say, It's going to be hot, ' and it is.

Within the bible there is always conflict between the left and the right, east and west.

Son of man, set your face toward the south; preach against the south and prophesy against the forest land

Son of man (your ego)
set your face toward the south (give your attention to your emotions)
preach against the south (don’t let your emotions rule you)
prophesy against the forest land (envision a future where you are not lost in emotion)

Go to Bible Hub and search the north, south. East, west cardinal directions and then apply this symbology to it. You will find that the symbology is consistent throughout the bible. Properly understood the bible is your guide to understanding your mind and connecting with the Christ.
