UNBELIEF, SIN OF

Man's unbelief in the higher nature springs from the fact of the operations from above being inversely reflected below in the astral vehicle of the desire-mind, and perceived thus by the brain consciousness.

“Thereupon Angra Mainyu created the sin of unbelief." - Vendidad, I.

The illusory principle of the lower mind, kama-manas, causes the lower nature to have the aspect of reality, and the higher nature to be unperceived or seem unreal and visionary.
