A symbol of the causal-body,- the abode of the Self or Spirit,- atma-buddhi (fire).

"For now the Eternal Father by his fiery power begetteth his Son in thee (the Soul), who changeth the Fire of the Father, namely, the First Principle, or Wrathful Property of the Soul, into the Flame of Love, so that out of Fire and Light (viz. Wrath and Love) there cometh to be one Essence, Being, or Substance, which is the true Temple of God." - BEHMAN, Supersensual Life, p. 143.

"Is there any other greater, more satisfying, more majestic thought of life than this-the scaffolding by which souls are built up into the temple of God?" - A. MACLAREN, Serm., Christian Life.

"The Lord is in His Holy temple when the Holy Ghost takes up His abode in a pure heart." - J. M. NEALE, Comm. Psalms, Vol. I. p. 173.
