MOON-WANING PERIOD, OR THE DEVAYANA

A symbol of the present period of the evolution of humanity in which, as time proceeds, the stimulation of the desire-nature is worked out, and the mind functions, with ultimately the spirit.

"But in the waning half, the moon causes them to be born." - Ibid.

In the second period, when the rule of the desires is to be gradually superseded, consequent on the awakenment of mind, the spiritual egos are born on the mental plane to begin their influence in human nature. Then the personalities build up the causal-bodies for the individualities on the higher mental plane.
