KHUS (HIGHER ASPECT)

A symbol of the monads of Life, or the Individualities.

"Khu, a shining or translucent part of the spiritual economy of a man which dwelt with his soul in the sahu or spiritual body." - BUDGE, Book of the Dead, Vol. I. p. lxii.

“May I become a Khu therein (thy fields of Sekket Aaru)." - Ibid., Ch. CX. p. 327.

In these experiences of life in the form, I, the Self, realise Myself.

"And behold, the Khus, each of whom therein (Sekhet-Aaru) is nine cubits in height, reap the wheat and the barley side by side with Hera-khuti (young Horus)." - BUDGE, Book of the Dead, Ch. CXLIX. p. 486.

The monads of Life, when perfected through experience in the "field" or arena of the lower life, inherit the treasures of Wisdom and Love, together with the indwelling Christ. The "nine cubits in height " signifies perfection attained on the lower planes. The perfected Khus" are the individual souls (the saints), who rise with Christ to the higher planes of consciousness at the end of the cycle.
