DOVE-SELLERS
Symbolic of hybrid qualities seemingly gentle and beneficent, but really hard and grasping.
"Jesus overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves." - MATTHEW xxi. 12.
The “dove-sellers” are those who profess to be kind and amiable, but who are in reality selfish and in-different, and who therefore prostitute the ideals which they profess to be living up to.
