COUNTERFEIT OF THE SPIRIT
A symbol of the Anti-Christ-he who cometh as from
God, but who doeth not the works of God.

God, and about the earthly Adam and his guide, the Counterfeit, who
doth blasphemously call himself Son of God, for leading men astray."

The “Man of Light " is the individuality in harmony with the Higher
Self. The earthly Adam" is the lower personality that first becomes
subject to the desire-nature which claims falsely to be its true
ruler, and to take the place of the spiritual nature in the human
soul.
