CIRCULAR BOX OR DRUM
A symbol of the incarnating cycle of the personalities in the lower life.
"A circular box or drum was placed for Uzumé to dance upon." - Japanese Legend.
The cycle of incarnations was entered upon by the soul, in order that the higher emotion nature (Goddess Uzumé) might be evolved and exercised. Then the earth lives were full of the play and conflict of the emotions which sent up vibrations to the buddhic plane, and caused the transmutations of the lower qualities until perfection was reached.
