BOOK STUDIES
Symbolic of following the letter of the sacred scriptures blindly, but reverentially.
"Homa grants fame and learning to all those who are engaged in the study of books." - Homa Yasht.
The Spirit allows in due time the interior perception of Truth to be opened in those who have earnestly studied the scriptures according to the letter. For the reverential carrying out of injunctions entrusted to the soul, even blindly and unintelligently, is the means of arriving at the state when the interior perception of truths shall at length be awakened, and the intuition of Wisdom within shall revive from latency.
