BIBLE VERSES

BEHÛDET, GOD OF

A symbol of the Higher Self seated upon the buddhic plane.

"Thoth spake to Horbehûdti: 'Thou art a great protector.' From that day the sacred bark of Horus is called Great of Protection." (God of Behûdet is the same as Horus, or Horbehûdti.) – Legend of Winged Sun-disk.

The higher mind (Thoth) uttered itself to the Self: "Thou art indeed a great protector of myself." And from that period of development the causal-body (bark) is known to be a haven of protection for the qualities; for through its functionings the soul is brought to a state of stability, centralised on the higher mind plane.
