AHAVANIYA FIRE

A symbol of the centre of outpouring spiritual activity on the buddhic plane.

"Now Indra, in truth is the same as the Ahavaniya; and king Yama is the same as the Garhapatya." - Sata. Bráh., II. 3, 2, 2.

"Indra' is a symbol of Divine energy (atma-buddhic), and "King Yama " is the causal self in the causal-body.

"That Ahavanîya fire is the Sacrificer's divine body, and this body of his is his human one." - Sata. Bráh., VI. 6, 4, 5.

The buddhic outpouring is the Divine vehicle of the Self, and the causal-body is his mental one.
